Colt Prattes - Co-Founder
Colt Prattes is widely known for starring as “Johnny Castle” in ABC’s Dirty Dancing film. Colt danced with P!NK in the duet from her critically acclaimed music video “TRY” and throughout the world on her “Truth About Love” world tour. Some of his Broadway and touring credits include “West Side Story”, “A Chorus Line”, “Rock of Ages, “High School Musical”, “How to Succeed”, “Aladdin”, and more.
Colt is on the faculty at the Broadway Dance Center in NYC and teaches masterclasses in NYC, LA, and around the world.
Angelina Mullins - Co-Founder
Angelina trained and danced professionally at the Boston Ballet and graduated from their professional division. At 17 years old she began touring the world in the legendary Broadway musical “FOSSE”, directed by the Anne Reinking. Angelina went on to perform in many Broadway shows and tours, including the 2009 Tony award winning revival of “West Side Story”, “Spamalot”, “Aladdin”, and “Saturday Night Fever”. Angelina was also a recurring dancer on NBC’s hit series, SMASH!
In addition to performing on Broadway, she currently teaches masterclasses around the world with her husband Colt and The Broadway Studio.
Ahmad Simmons
Ahmad Simmons is a dancer, choreographer, educator, and creative producer based in New York City. He was last seen on Broadway in the Tony Award winning show Illinoise. Previous credits include the Original Broadway Cast of Hadestown, and most recent revival casts of, West Side Story, Carousel and Cats. Ahmad co-starred alongside Sam Rockwell and Michelle Williams as Ben Vereen in the Emmy nominated FX mini-series Fosse/Verdon. Other TV appearances include ABC’s TV remake of Dirty Dancing.
Prior to his career on Broadway, Ahmad toured internationally and all across the United States as a dancer with Parsons Dance Company, River North Dance Chicago, and Eisenhower Dance Detroit.
Zach Bencal
Zach Bencal is best known for his seven-year run in Disney’s Aladdin, where he played Babkak on Broadway and originated the role on the first North American tour. His theater credits include Aladdin (Broadway, 1st National Tour original cast), The Anthem and The Civil War (Off-Broadway), as well as performances at Goodspeed, Forestburgh Playhouse, Monomoy Theatre, NCL, and TheatreworksUSA.
Zach is a BMI-affiliated composer and passionate vocal coach with a private studio. He brings humor, humility, and firsthand experience to every lesson, creating a safe, supportive space for students to grow and explore their voices. Zach’s goal is to inspire vocalists of all levels to reach their full potential while having fun along the way.
Zach holds a BFA in Theatre from The Hartt School, where he graduated in 2013 and studied vocal pedagogy under Amanda Flynn. @zbencal
Karla Puno Garcia
Karla Puno Garcia is a New York City-based performer, choreographer, and educator with a diverse career in theater, television, and film. She made her Broadway debut in Hot Feet and performed in West Side Story, Gigi, and Hamilton, with national tours of Wicked and The Addams Family. A top 7 finalist on So You Think You Can Dance (Season 5), Karla’s choreography credits include additional scenes for Tick, Tick... Boom! (Netflix), Gone Missing (ENCORES! Off-Center), and 1001 Nights and A Day (Prospect Theater). She won the Richmond Theatre Critics Award for Best Choreography for her work on In the Heights at Virginia Repertory, an Emmy Award for her Tony Awards choreography, and was named one of Dance Magazine’s “25 to Watch” in 2024. Currently, she teaches at Broadway Dance Center and STEPS in NYC.
Phil Colgan
Phil was the Associate Choreographer of NEW YORK, NEW YORK on Broadway, directed and choreographed by Susan Stroman (Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Choreography; Tony and Drama Desk nominations). His choreography credits include the LGBTQIA+ reimagining of THE WIZARD OF OZ (Geva Theater), GREASE (The REV), and CATCH ME IF YOU CAN (NYU Skirball). Currently, Phil can be seen on Broadway in & JULIET as a swing and dance captain. He was part of the smash-hit musical HAMILTON, performing as a swing on Broadway, a Universal Swing across North American companies, and co-dance captain for the national tour. Other credits include ONLY GOLD at MCC and regional theater performances at Paper Mill, Maine State, The Fulton, Ogunquit Playhouse, Gateway Playhouse, and The REV.
Tyler Hanes
Tyler Hanes was discovered at 17 by the late Ann Reinking during her Broadway Theater Project, leading to his role in the first national tour of Fosse. His Broadway debut came in the 2002 revival of Oklahoma!, followed by appearances in Urban Cowboy, The Boy From Oz, The Frogs, Sweet Charity, and as Larry in the original revival of A Chorus Line. A two-time Chita Rivera Award nominee, Tyler also performed in Hairspray, the 2014 revival of On The Town, and starred as Rum Tum Tugger in the 2016 revival of Cats. Onscreen, he’s known for playing Jerry Orbach in Fosse/Verdon. As a choreographer, his credits include Kristin Chenoweth: For The Girls and Dancing With The Stars. Tyler teaches at The Norwalk Conservatory, Kanyok Arts Initiative, and Steps on Broadway.
Aaron Albano
Aaron J. Albano made his Broadway debut in the original company of Bombay Dreams. Since then, Aaron has performed in 12 Broadway shows, including Wicked, A Chorus Line, Mary Poppins, Hamilton, CATS, Aladdin, Here Lies Love, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, where he closed the production as Chip Tolentino, The King and I, Finch in the original Broadway company of Newsies, and Allegiance.
As a teacher, Aaron’s focus is on storytelling through dance. He is passionate about sharing all the knowledge he has gained from his own Broadway career to help his students achieve their own dreams of performing on Broadway.
Kristine Reese
Kristine Reese has performed on Broadway, National Tours, regional theatre houses and concert venues across the globe and is best known for playing Catherine on the Tony-Award winning National Tour of PIPPIN and originating the role Nessarose on the original Second National Tour of WICKED. She also appeared on the National Tours of FINDING NEVERLAND (Mary Barrie) and MAMMA MIA! and on Broadway in the 2006 Revival of LES MISERABLES. Other credits include roles at The MUNY, Kansas City Starlight, Theatreworks Silicon Valley, Music Theatre Wichita and, City Springs Theatre Company, as well as appearances as a vocal soloist in over a dozen international Symphony Orchestras. Kristine is the Co-director of City Springs Pre-Professional Conservatory in Atlanta, GA.
Vishal Vaidya
Vishal Vaidya has been most recently seen on Broadway in the highly acclaimed revival of Merrily We Roll Along. He made his Broadway debut as Larry the cameraman in Groundhog Day. Vishal was recently nominated for a Helen Hayes Award for his work on Olney Theatre’s groundbreaking production of The Music Man, which featured deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing talent. Other credits include playing Ajit in the world premier of Come Fall in Love (dir. Aditya Chopra), working with Stephen Sondheim on the City Center revival of Road Show, the world premier of Swept Away at Berkeley Rep (dir. Michael Mayer), the world premier of DAVE at Arena Stage (dir. Tina Landau), and the Ahmanson Theater revival of The Secret Garden (dir. Warren Carlyle).
Billy Tighe
Billy Tighe has performed on Broadway, the West End, national tours, Off-Broadway, and prestigious regional theaters. He made his Broadway debut in Pippin and starred as Elder Price in the West End production of The Book of Mormon. Billy toured North America in five Broadway National Tours, including Finding Neverland (JM Barrie), Wicked (Fiyero), La Cage Aux Folles (Jean-Michel), The Book of Mormon (Elder Price), and Dirty Dancing. He also played Anthony Hope in the immersive Off-Broadway production of Sweeney Todd at Barrow Street. Recently, Billy originated the role of Tucker in Heart of Rock and Roll and The Secret of My Success. Regional credits include Paper Mill Playhouse, The Old Globe, and Paramount Theatre. He is the Co-director of City Springs Pre-Professional Conservatory in Atlanta.
Phillip Attmore
Philip Attmore is a three-time Astaire Award winner, ACCA Award winner, Playbill "Breakout Performance" Award winner, and NAACP Theatre Award nominee. He was also recognized as one of America’s "Top 20" dancers on season six of So You Think You Can Dance. Philip’s Broadway credits include Hello, Dolly!, Shuffle Along…, On the 20th Century, After Midnight, Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Off-Broadway, he appeared in Cheek to Cheek and Encores! productions such as Tap Dance Kid and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. His national tours and regional credits include Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, The Wiz, Singin’ in the Rain, 42nd Street, Fosse, and more. He’s performed alongside stars like Hugh Jackman, Patti LaBelle, and Bette Midler.
